Hey everyone! Finally got around to getting a
new portrait commission for a friend in Pennsylvania (we live in South Carolina now!). My friend had three neices who he adored. He wanted to give his sister a gift she could enjoy for a long time, so he gave me a copy of their best pose and I worked up a great piece for him.
The satin dress took the most time. All-in-all, the portrait (19"x24") took about 24 hours. I used up quite an assortment of graphite leads and charcoal...but it was well worth it in the end.
