Apnea - a model from Houston Texas - has been featured in many magazines and websites.  Her husband - Lithium Picnic - is a well known photographer.  When I saw this photo of her modeling a head piece, I just had to draw it.  Her vibrant colors were just begging to be put onto paper.  This piece is also featured in the Platte Productions book - Amazing Pencil Portraits available for purchase.

Actual drawing on 14 x 17 vellum bristol paper using PrismaColor color pencils.
