A cat I airbrushed as a commission. Hair is hard to airbrush individually so, as an artist, it forces you to find tricks and techniques to achieve realism. Here I used some chalk, an Xacto knife, and a needle to achieve the hair highlights and strands.

Original piece is 14 x 17 on smooth bristol paper using Testors model paints and an Iwata HPC-plus airbrush.
